BC and Aatreyee visited us from Karaikal where BC teaches pathology at Vinayaka Mission Medical College.
Aatreyee, Krishna, Carolyn
Aatreyee and BC cooking, which they did a lot. (Heaven! Good cooks.)
Gopal took them to a tourist spot with a view, Dolphin's Nose. Please note the tea plantations everywhere.
This picture shows the lack of view, so everyone focused on taking pictures of the monkeys.
The view. (Socked in by fog/clouds.)
Carolyn, BC, Krishna, Aatreyee after dinner
Monkeys outsite the sunroom, through the window.
Monkeys in the garden
This is Sims Park near the house Not sure where BC found this guy, but I just loved how well designed he is.
We visited the NGO, Leap the Divide, where Sara works. ://www.leapthedivide.org/
Sara at her desk
The Leap the Divide building. The walk there from our house was really beautiful and charming (and short).
BC feeding a very hungry street puppy. Street dogs have a difficult life. Many puppies like this one don't survive.
We also visited this herbal medicine store where Krishna and I bought some natural incredients for our soap and shampoo (soap nuts, shikakai, and amla) which I am still using.
We had a wonderful time with Aatreyee and BC and were sorry to see them go.
