We arrived the evening of 9 November, had dinner and went to bed. Early the next morning, we were scheduled for a boat ride on the river with a nature interpreter.
Narayan was the guide in our boat. |
Large Egret |
Stork-billed Kingfisher (I had to magnify it so yu could see it, so the resolution isn't very good) |
Same with these Ruddy Shelducks |
Same with this Pied Kingfisher |
These are swallow nests in the mud wall along the river |
This is an endangered Black Stork |
We landed down the river where our guide took on a land tour |

This may not look terribly exciting to you, but this pile of rhinoceros dung is about 3 feet in diameter, and was very fresh! |
As our tour approached the elephant breeding center, we came across a man-made pool for the rhinos. We had seen spotted deer, which I didn't get a picture of. |
